My name is Ronald Bruinsma, and I have been specialising in SharePoint for the past few years. I’ve been a freelance SharePoint consultant and project manager since 2008. My strength lies mostly in the combination of: – premium knowledge; – experience with complex projects for large organisations; – and my personal qualities
Apart from having completed a bachelor in ‘Information and Communication Technology’, I am also a ‘Microsoft Solution Expert SharePoint 2013, 2010 and 2007’, as well as MSCE 2008 certified; therefore, I am very knowledgeable about Microsoft infrastructures. I have also completed several training programmes and courses such as K2 and Prince2.
Every year, I attend multiple conferences about the newest developments in IT. For instance, you can find me at the Microsoft TechEd or the European SharePoint conference. I believe the sharing of knowledge and experience is an important requirement for continued development.
For me, assignments do not start at 9 o’clock in the morning; nor are they done at 5 o’clock in the evening. I deem an assignment successfully completed when I can add a satisfied client to my portfolio while staying within the budget and the time available. Therefore, there is no quitting: I would rather work with different disciplines to arrive at the right solution together. With enough creativity and perseverance, every problem is solvable. I take it as a challenge to obtain optimal results within the available time and approved budget.
I have been an independent SharePoint consultant and project manager since as early as 2008. My target clients are the bigger companies (1000+ FTE), where complex organisational structures and systems demand the utmost of technical capabilities. Every assignment brings with it new insights, which I can then use for future clients. I am a team player, and can communicate effortlessly with every layer within an organisation, as well as quickly recognise a company’s needs. I can translate these needs effortlessly to for instance SharePoint environments because I can think with the company on an architectural level.
